Per diem Respiratory Therapist position available at Upland Hills Health.

Per diem Respiratory Therapist position. Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program (required). Wisconsin license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (required). CRRT (or eligible) or RRT (or eligible). One or more years of prior RT patient care experience is preferred. BLS certification required.

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care including invasive and non-invasive ventilatory support for patients from neonates to adults.
• Develop care plans for all ages and disease states; document in EPIC EMR.
• Perform arterial and venous blood draws as part of patient assessment and monitoring.
• Conduct pulmonary diagnostics and testing knowledge areas including FENO, PFT, and sleep-related testing.
• Support emergent situations to assist critically injured or ill patients; act as a respiratory and cardiac resource for staff and physicians; collaborate as a team player.
