Psychologist Supervisor
Position Summary
This position is responsible for the overall administration and supervision of the Psychological Services Unit PSU Supervisor participates as part of the facility’s administrative team and collaborates with institution leadership, including the Warden and Deputy Warden, to align clinical and administrative priorities set by the Bureau of Health Services. The Psychologist Supervisor develops, administers, supervises, and coordinates all psychological services programs within the facility, provides clinical and administrative supervision to staff, offers direct services to patients, consults with institution administration and staff, and ensures patient access to mental healthcare in compliance with State and Federal guidelines and program standards.
The supervisor also manages an affirmative action plan and health and safety program within assigned responsibilities.
This position is in pay schedule/range 81‑02 with a starting salary between $48.87 and $56.82 per hour. Pay on appointment may vary according to applicable pay transaction provisions of the State Compensation Plan, Wisconsin Administrative Code, and statutes. A two‑year Career Executive trial period is required.
Additional Pay
- Employees in possession of a Doctorate of Psychology (or equivalent) may be eligible for supplemental pay of an additional $6.00 per hour.
- Employees in possession of a permanent License to practice Psychology may be eligible for supplemental pay of an additional $5.00 per hour.
- Substantial leave time including at least 3.5 weeks of vacation to start, 9 paid holidays, and ample accrued sick time that rolls over each year.

QualificationsSPECIAL REQUIREMENT: Applicants must possess a current permanent Psychologist license granted by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services or be licensed in another state. If licensed in another state you must obtain your Wisconsin license by the date of appointment.
