This entry‑level job is in high demand. As a Behavior Technician at WEAP, you’ll help children with autism learn, grow, and build communication, socialization, and self‑help skills through play‑based therapy known as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

- Help children with autism learn, grow, and build communication, socialization, and self‑help skills through ABA play‑based therapy.
- Implement ABA treatment plans during home or center settings for children aged 18 months to 6 years.
- Collaborate with ABA therapists and others to support progress.
- Gather data and conduct assessments as directed.
- Genuine desire to help children with autism and their families.
- Compassion, empathy, enthusiasm, kindness, and reliability.
- Willingness to learn about autism, learning differences, and ABA.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Daily reliable transportation.
- Availability for a consistent weekly schedule (mornings, afternoons, evenings).
- Minimum age 18.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Physical ability to push, pull, lift up to 35 lbs, sit on floor, stoop, stand, walk, run.
- Full‑time work earns up to 15 days paid time off after 90 days; part‑time work is eligible for sick leave.
- Potential promotion within three months and opportunities for professional development.
- Optional: bilingual English/Spanish, background in psychology, education, special education, childcare, or related fields.
