Our approach is compassionate, individualized, and team-based, with clinical, medical, psychiatric, peer support, and administrative professionals working together to support each client's needs.
Position SummaryThe Licensed Mental Health Therapist provides comprehensive mental health and substance use disorder treatment services to clients s master's-level position is designed for independently licensed LPC, LCSW, or LMFT clinicians and includes assessment, treatment planning, individual and group therapy, care coordination, discharge planning, crisis support, and clinical documentation.
The therapist works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary treatment team to provide individualized, evidence-informed care and support clients throughout the recovery process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy based on client needs, clinical judgment, and program requirements.
- Provide mental health and substance use disorder assessment, counseling, intervention, referral, and care coordination services.
- Monitor client progress and complete ongoing treatment plan reviews and updates.
- Coordinate with clinical, medical, psychiatric, peer support, and administrative team members to promote continuity and quality of care.
- Collaborate with outside providers, referral sources, families, and community resources when appropriate.
- Participate in treatment team meetings, clinical staffing, and care coordination activities.
- Develop and coordinate appropriate discharge and aftercare plans.
- Provide crisis intervention and clinical support within the therapist's scope of practice.
- Complete required individual-session, treatment-plan, staffing, group, and other assigned clinical documentation within organizational time frames.
- Maintain professional communication, boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical standards of clinical practice.
- Participate in consultation, continuing education, training, and professional development activities.
- Represent Wis Hope Recovery Programs professionally in interactions with clients, families, referral sources, community partners, and other professionals.
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or another related behavioral health field required.
- Current Wisconsin LPC, LCSW, or LMFT license required.
- Experience providing mental health, behavioral health, and/or substance use disorder treatment.
- Experience working with individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team.
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and sound clinical judgment.
