Prescott Nursing and Rehabilitation Community is located 20 miles from St. Paul. We are a 65 bed facility that cares for short-term/transitional care/long-term Residents. Our home is owned and managed by Atrium Living Centers. Job Description
  • provide direct care to residents with activities of daily living.
  • bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mouth care, nail care, positioning and transferring in and out of chair, bed.
  • provide active and passive range of motion as necessary.
  • perform vitals
  • promote resident independence by allowing the resident the opportunity and time to complete the activities of daily living.
  • answer call lights
  • assist residents with dining, record food and fluid intake
  • work with members of the resident care team to provide quality resident care.
  • direct or assist residents in transfer and ambulation techniques, with range of motion and with exercise activities.
  • use restorative techniques to promote resident independence and highest functioning level.
  • welcome new residents, and their families, new employees and guests
  • comply with Resident Bill of Rights
Qualifications
  • must have the ability to read and write in English, and follow oral and written directions.
  • must have a sincere caring and interest to work with seniors.
  • must be capable of regular attendance.
  • ability to relate positively to residents and their families, and with co-workers.
  • certified to work in the State of Wisconsin as a CNA
