Job Overview
Pediatric Psychologist/Neuropsychologist at CHRISTUS Children’s Hospital – San Antonio, TX. Faculty appointment within the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine.
Responsibilities- Conduct outpatient consultations and psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for pediatric patients at the Psychology Clinic.
- Provide consultation to inpatient teams.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with medical subspecialties.
- Build clinical and research programs with other specialties.
- Supervise and teach pediatric residents, psychology fellows, and graduate students.
- Doctoral degree from a Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology program approved by APA or CPA.
- Completed an APA‑accredited internship in an academic medical setting with concentration in pediatric assessment or pediatric neuropsychology.
- Completed a postdoctoral fellowship in an academic medical setting with concentration in pediatric assessment or pediatric neuropsychology.
- Licensed or immediately license‑eligible in Texas.
- 2‑year pediatric neuropsychology fellowship.
- Additional training and experience with neurodevelopmental disorders and disabilities.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
