Number of Staff – approx. 80

- Day Shift – Charge Nurse, Flow Navigator, RN, Paramedic, ED Tech, Unit Clerk
- Night Shift – Charge Nurse, Flow Navigator, RN, Paramedic, ED Tech, Unit Clerk
Patient Ratios – Acuity Based
Type of equipment – Emergency/Trauma/Critical Care – GE/Stryker/Plum 360
EMR – Meditech

Must have

Strong clinical and rapid patient assessment skills
Recognizes changes in condition; critical thinking
Work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred or nice to have

Trauma Experience in level 1 or 2 Trauma Center
2+ years experience in high volume ED

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

Moderate sedation; RSI; CPR; PIV/IO;
Splinting; EKG; blood transfusion; TNK administration
Cardiac monitoring; stroke assessment; trauma assessment; resuscitation; sepsis workups

REQUIRED

CERTIFICATIONS:

TNCC, ENPC or PALS, ACLS, BLS, CPI

Unit Guidelines/Policies :

Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. Shift starts 15 minutes prior to shift time; come prepared to clock in, receive huddle, and assume patient care; no food or drink in patient care areas; no personal bags in patient care areas; all hands on deck, we all work as a team and help each other; must clock out/in for a full 30-34 minutes for lunch each shift
