The Laundry Machine Operator will be responsible for the efficient operation of laundry machines, ensuring that all linen and terry are cleaned, sanitized, and maintained to the highest standards. This role is essential in contributing to our guests' satisfaction and the overall cleanliness of the hotel.
Qualifications- Previous experience in a laundry or hospitality environment is a plus.
- Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Operate and monitor industrial laundry machines, including washers, dryers, ironers, and folding machines.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and terry according to established procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is clean and well maintained.
- Perform routine maintenance on laundry machines and report any malfunctions or needed repairs.
- Follow safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Keep accurate records of laundry inventory and supplies.
- Assist in training new laundry staff on proper procedures and equipment operation.
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and uniforms.
- Adhere to hotel policies and procedures to maintain quality service and compliance.

- Required to perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
