Position Overview

As Roc Search is growing we’re seeking an experienced Senior Learning and Development Consultant to join our Austin office. You will play a critical role in designing, delivering, and evaluating impactful training programs that enhance employee performance, foster career development, and drive operational excellence across the business.

Skills and Experience
  • Background of full desk recruitment
  • Proven experience (2+ years) as a Corporate Trainer, Learning & Development Specialist, or similar role ideally at a recruitment agency
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Experience in designing learning materials, using e-learning platforms, and delivering blended learning solutions.
  • Knowledge of training evaluation methods and instructional design principles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Education, Business, or a related field preferred.
Role Responsibilities
  • Design & develop comprehensive training programs aligned with company goals and employee development needs.
  • Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions — both in-person and virtual — across a variety of topics, including onboarding, leadership development, sales techniques, and compliance.
  • Evaluate & improve training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with department heads and managers to identify skills gaps and customize training accordingly.
  • Maintain detailed records of training activities, attendance, and outcomes.
  • Stay current on best practices in learning & development to bring innovative ideas to the table.
Compensation

Flexible based on experience.
