Tasks and responsibilities:As an Analytical Engineer within the BI Cluster team, your role is pivotal in bridging the gap between Data Analysts and Data Engineers. You will ensure that the data infrastructure is designed to meet the specific needs of warehousing operations, focusing on client‑specific data and aligning with the overall business requirements. Your primary objective is to support operational targets and reporting through the effective management, modeling, and integration of data.
Collaborating closely with the Central BI team, you will adhere to established data governance standards to maintain data quality, consistency, and security. Your work will ensure that data insights are actionable, reliable, and effectively communicated to stakeholders, enabling informed decision‑making across the organization.
PRIMARY FOCUS
- Develop data models that organize and structure data in a way that is both accessible and understandable for data analysts. This involves working closely with data analysts to understand their requirements and designing views and data marts to meet those needs.
- Integrate data from various sources, transforming it into formats that are usable and aligned with the operational and business requirements. Ensure that the data is tailored to support client‑specific needs in warehousing operations.
- Work in alignment with the Central BI team, adhering to their governance guidelines and best practices to maintain consistency across all data initiatives.
- Create and maintain data sources that enable business analysts to derive meaningful insights. Ensure these sources are updated and optimized to support the operational objectives of the warehousing team.
- Implement and enforce data governance practices to ensure the quality, consistency, and security of data. Work closely with both data engineers and analysts to establish and maintain data standards and procedures.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions to ensure they run efficiently and can handle the required data volumes. Identify and resolve any issues that may impact the performance or reliability of these systems.
- Strong skills in data modeling and integration, with the ability to create and manage complex data structures.
- In‑depth knowledge of data governance practices, with experience in implementing these in a collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in BI tools and techniques for monitoring and optimizing data performance.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
