- Evaluate and enhance automation ROI using metrics such as time savings and defect detection rates.
- Balance manual and automated testing for optimal resource utilization.
- Lead and mentor QA teams across manual and automation domains.
- Monitor CI/CD pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and ensure reliable automated test execution.
- Define, collect, and analyze QA performance metrics (coverage, pass/fail rates, flakiness).
- Drive QA process improvements, tool adoption, and test environment enhancements.
- Collaborate with development, Dev Ops, and product teams to align QA goals with engineering objectives.
- Prepare and present QA status reports, risk assessments, and release readiness updates.
- Maintain detailed documentation for test plans, automation scripts, and QA processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in software/firmware testing, including test strategy creation and defect management.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Robot Framework, pytest, Selenium).
- Familiarity with embedded systems or firmware testing (preferred).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
- Proficiency in QA metrics analysis and dashboard reporting.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting QA plans and results to stakeholders.
- Experience with test management tools (HP ALM, JIRA, Azure Dev Ops) and version control systems (Git).
- Experience optimizing QA processes and implementing continuous improvements.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot quality issues and implement corrective actions.
