Job Title: Lead Cloud Dev Ops Engineer
Location: remote - Austin,TX
Compensation: $60 - $98/ hour depending on experience
Contract Length: 6-Months Contract to Hire
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401K.
Must be authorized to work in the US. Position is not eligible for sponsorship
Top Technical Requirements:
- Microsoft Azure expertise (primary cloud platform)
- Experience designing, building, and managing cloud infrastructure
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools
- Automation and scripting experience:
- Power Shell
- Python
- Strong Dev Ops / Dev Sec Ops background
- CI/CD pipeline creation and management
- Cloud networking, security, identity management, and access controls
- Monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization
- Incident response and disaster recovery planning
- Ability to work independently and own cloud initiatives
Strongly Preferred
- Multi-cloud experience:
- Azure (most important)
- AWS
- GCP
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience
- Cloud governance and security best practices
- Cost optimization and cloud financial management
- Experience supporting software development teams and cloud-hosted applications
- Cloud certifications (Azure preferred)
