You'll define how things get built, not follow someone else’s playbook. Six principles guide how the team works:
- 1% Better Every Day: small, compounding improvements across everything you ship.
- Customer Obsession: start with the customer and work backward.
- Ship Today: bias toward action and iteration over perfection.
- Find a Way: resourcefulness and ambition over constraint.
- Care: be direct, like an honest friend, even when it’s uncomfortable.
- Own It: full accountability, proactive communication, and attention to detail.
As an R&D Attorney, you will shape the products, features, and AI experiences that legal teams rely on every day. You will combine legal expertise, product judgment, and a practical understanding of how legal teams work to define what excellent legal AI looks like. Working alongside engineers as a legal expert, product partner, and advanced user, you will design legal evaluations, translate real-world workflows into product requirements, test and refine new features, and turn customer feedback into lasting improvements.
You will help decide what we build, set the standard for launch readiness, and shape the future of legal AI for in-house teams.
