The attorney will work on sophisticated transactional matters within the energy sector, potentially including:
- Oil & gas acquisitions and divestitures
- Purchase and sale agreements
- Joint operating and participation agreements
- Oil & gas leases and related agreements
- Surface-use and easement agreements
- Energy-related commercial contracts
- Title and due diligence matters
- General corporate and operational matters for energy clients
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements throughout the transaction lifecycle
- Licensed attorney in good standing
- Transactional oil & gas experience
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Ability to independently manage matters and client relationships
- Self-driven, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of work
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach

The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 – $185,000
. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
