A well-established, high-performing law firm is seeking a Patent Prosecution Paralegal to support a busy Intellectual Property practice. The firm has a strong culture of collaboration, accountability, and long-term employee retention. This is a confidential search.
You will assist attorneys with the full patent prosecution lifecycle, including filing, docket management, reporting, IDS preparation, research, and direct client communication.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, proofread, and edit patent prosecution documents
- Finalize and electronically file USPTO submissions
- Manage client communication and portfolio updates
- Prepare IDS and OA-related materials
- Monitor dockets and coordinate with docketing teams
- Conduct legal research related to prosecution
- Manage both paper and electronic files
- Hybrid or fully remote options for candidates located in Texas
- Minimal overtime
- No formal billable hour requirement
