Production Scheduler

Leer is seeking a detail-oriented Production Scheduler to turn customer demand and plant capacity into an efficient production plan. This role partners across teams to keep work moving and support on-time delivery.

You will coordinate priorities across Production, Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, Logistics, and Warehouse teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Analyze ERP demand and prioritize work based on lead times, ship dates, plant capacity, and customer needs.
• Sequence production, create work orders, and adjust schedules for changing demand, downtime, shortages, and expedited requests.
• Monitor daily output and schedule attainment, making real-time decisions to support on-time delivery.
• Align shop floor priorities and production readiness with supervisors and leads.
• Partner with Purchasing, Engineering, Logistics, Warehouse, and Sales to resolve constraints and confirm order requirements.
• Support planning tools, reports, and process improvements.

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field—or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• One to three or more years of experience in production scheduling, planning, material coordination, or shop floor control.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems;
  Epicor experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, filters, and lookup functions.
• Strong organization, communication, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
