Mitigation Project Manager

Wylander Solutions, a recruiting company specializing in the disaster restoration industry, is seeking a Mitigation Division Manager for a Disaster Restoration company located in Wauwatosa, WI.

We are seeking a candidate with strong ethics, values, high energy, adaptability, and excellent problem-solving skills. The Mitigation Division Manager will oversee and manage the mitigation division and the project lifecycle. This role provides direction and coordination of all field activities related to technicians, coordinators, vendors, and trade partners. The manager will also be responsible for growing the mitigation department.

Mitigation Division Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the Mitigation Division, including project managers, coordinators, and field crews, ensuring efficient operations.
• Manage and develop high-performing teams, including recruiting and staffing decisions.
• Review job profitability and analyze financial reports related to the mitigation department.
• Support and train project managers to invoice and document mitigation projects (water, fire, mold) effectively, creating accurate and profitable summaries.
• Communicate and negotiate with insurance professionals when needed.
• Maintain exceptional communication with diverse customers.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and implement relevant solutions.
• Manage company equipment tracking.
• Plan, organize, and manage mitigation crews.
• Establish and maintain strong client relationships.
• Attend all relevant company meetings.
• Handle escalated customer complaints and resolve conflicts.
• Perform additional duties to support company success as required.

Mitigation Division Manager Requirements:

• 5+ years of management experience, preferably in restoration
• Xactimate experience is a plus
• Willing to respond to calls and emails after hours when necessary
• Industry certifications such as IICRC, WRT/ASD, MRT are advantageous
• Exceptional organizational and planning skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, responsible, accountable, and adaptable
• Willing to grow with the company and learn new software
• Sales experience is a plus
• Proactive in problem-solving and assisting team members
