Director of Execution

The Director of Execution will own the execution of ZoKa's client delivery organization, converting company strategy and client commitments into accountable execution through people, processes, and measurable results. They will work alongside the CEO and Director of Operations to align strategic and growth planning into deliverable actions.

This role sits on the firm’s senior leadership team and carries both executive and operational responsibility: setting the direction and standards for how ZoKa delivers on its commitments and leading the teams who carry that work out day to day. The Director of Execution directly supervises the firm’s Account Managers and Project Coordinators, requiring a deep understanding of construction processes and experience managing large projects and teams.

This Director leads the firm's project management and account delivery functions across our company, and is accountable for the performance, consistency, and quality of project delivery across all client accounts, blending people management, client relationship oversight, and operational rigor.

ZoKa Solutions is a project controls, project management, and operational consulting firm supporting capital projects across construction, energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors. We are still a small, growing company, which means this role comes with real latitude to help shape how we work, not just execute inside a system that’s already set. • Partner directly with the CEO and Director of Operations as part of the senior leadership team, translating company strategy and growth plans into executable delivery plans.
• Own accountability for execution across the client delivery organization, ensuring strategic commitments made at the leadership level are carried through to measurable results.
• Bring an execution-side perspective to firmwide planning: staffing and capacity, account growth priorities, and organizational structure of the delivery team.
• Define and report on firmwide execution metrics, giving leadership visibility into delivery performance, risk, and capacity across all accounts.
• Represent the delivery organization in leadership discussions on new business, client strategy, and resourcing decisions.
• Directly manage and mentor Account Managers, setting expectations for client service, project performance, and account growth.
• Directly manage Project Coordinators, ensuring consistent processes for scheduling, documentation, reporting, and administrative support across all active engagements.
• Establish and enforce firmwide project management standards, templates, and workflows for client engagements.
• Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and professional development planning for direct reports.
• Identify staffing needs and participate in hiring, onboarding, and training for project management and account staff.

• The CEO will own the client executive relationships while the Director of Execution owns the daily coordination and escalation to the CEO when needed.
• Oversee the health of all firm accounts, ensuring Account Managers are proactively managing client relationships, contracts, and scopes of work.
• Review project financials, staffing plans, and utilization across accounts to ensure profitability and resource alignment.
