What you will be doing as a Punch Press Operator:

• Selects and aligns dies in press according to specifications.
• Adjusts ram stroke to specified length.
• Positions work piece against fixtures or stops on machine bed or on die.
• Starts press and observes operation to detect misalignment or malfunction.
• Regulates air pressure and oil pressure.
• Inspects work pieces for conformance to specifications and adjusts machine to correct errors.
• Packages parts in appropriate containers.
• Cleans and Lubricates machines
• Other duties as assigned

What it takes to be a Punch Press Operator with MEC:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED),
  or one to three months related experience and/or training is preferred.
• Ability to train and work with others (Team Concept).
