Paint Line Technician - KI

Join us at KI's manufacturing plant in Bonduel to work first shift in the Paint Department as a Paint Line Technician.

Energetic team players who can work 8‑10 hour shifts, continually stand, and retrieve necessary components. Must be able to apply paint material, perform preventive maintenance, and follow ISO quality standards. Able to handle multiple tasks, communicate with the Team Leader, and rotate to other departments as needed.

• Stand continuously during an 8‑10 hour shift to place or remove parts from the moving paint line.
• Apply paint material onto parts and perform necessary clean‑up for preventive maintenance.
• Pull parts to and from a conveyor line with a pallet jack.
• Hang racks or hooks onto the conveyor line at a height of 89 inches and place parts onto the racks or hooks.
• Wash, dry, and transport parts through the paint booth where the technician sprays powdered paint, then through an oven for curing.
• Remove finished parts from the line, sort, and count them in various assembly areas.
• Clean tanks with high‑pressure hoses to remove build‑up of materials.
• Rework parts by sanding with a dual action sander or rubbing with Scotch‑brite pads as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and use necessary equipment for each task.
