Position: Operator - 1st Shift Openings

Position Scope and Purpose: Assemble and package medical devices or sub-assemblies, maintaining cleanliness requirements. Operate assembly or packaging equipment and perform operations to validated specifications. Read, understand, and follow work instructions precisely. Monitor equipment operation to detect problems. Ensure efficient operation of all assembly equipment, with lot control, at all work centers. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Shifts available are eight-hour shifts Monday through Friday: 1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm and 2nd Shift: 3:30pm - 12:00am.

Key Accountabilities / Essential Functions:

  • Assemble medical devices or sub-assemblies and operate related equipment according to validated specifications.
  • Read, understand, and follow work instructions accurately.
  • Monitor equipment operation to detect issues and ensure efficiency with lot control at all work centers.
  • Maintain regular attendance.

Other Position Duties:

  • Inspect components and assemblies for defects, verify conformance to specifications, and notify supervisors of problems.
  • Maintain efficiency, housekeeping, safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Package, count, and label parts and products accurately per specifications.
  • Use hand and power tools and fixtures.
  • Load, unload, and organize materials and products.
  • Measure, weigh, or count materials and products.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions precisely and communicate effectively in English.
  • Minimum of one year experience in a production environment, preferably in a medical or Clean Room setting.
  • Understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Accurate counting skills and meticulous documentation.
  • Well-groomed and able to work in a Clean Room Environment.
  • Teamwork skills.
