• Will be trained in the operation of equipment and the precision measuring tools necessary for the inspection of parts
• Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and requirements
• Observes machine operation to detect work defects or machine malfunction
• Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from parts
• Reads blueprint or job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions such as fixtures to be used
• All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

• Successfully pass a skills-based assessment - evaluates reading, math, inspections & measurement, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
• Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner and to follow written policies pertaining to all workplace practices (safety, attendance, procedures, conduct, etc.)
• Previous Machine Operating experience is a plus
• Successful candidates will be enrolled in a registered apprenticeship program as part of their onboarding
