• Paint parts to meet customer and internal quality needs.
• Apply powder to recommended standard mill thickness per instructions on the paint line monitor or quality sign off sheet.
• Read and understand paint inspection equipment including film gauges, delta‑e meters, gloss meters and visually inspect parts.
• Maintain equipment in top working condition and clean at all times.
• Cleans paint booth and guns to prevent color transfer.
• Keep surrounding work area clean and clear of powder.
• Follow paint line monitor instructions on proper powder color and application.
• Help other department employees as needed when there are no parts to paint or when the line has stopped.
• Clean and organize work area.

• High School Diploma or GED; 3–5 years related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information one‑on‑one to other employees.
• Mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Reasoning ability: apply common sense to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions; solve problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Physical fitness required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and talk or hear regularly.
