Job Description:

Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory. Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.

• Operate material handling equipment including sit down and standup forklifts, and hand trucks.
• Move materials to correct inventory location.
• Move completed production items to inventory home locations.
• Replenish production with materials.
• Unload finished product and raw materials from trucks.
• Check incoming shipments against purchase orders for accuracy for both part number and quantity.
• Check condition of shipments and report damaged items to the purchasing departments.
• Prepare and load scrap shipments.
• Observe all safety rules and regulations.
• Report unsafe acts to the supervisor.
• Clean and maintain inventory storage areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership team.
• Additional responsibilities will be required upon supervisor’s discretion.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year receiving and/or material handling experience.
• Valid driver's license required. Clean Driving Record for last 3 years.
• Must successfully complete forklift operator training.
• Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight and length measurement.
• Ability to accurately read and comprehend instructions, packing lists, and purchase orders.
• Proficient in basic computer skills/data entry.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more on frequent basis.
