Precision Grinding Machinist — Join the Arcotech Team
Location: Union Grove, WI
Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM) following training on 1st shift
Wage Range: $23.75 – $26.18/hour, based on experience
A Day in the LifeYour afternoon starts with a review of the production plan and specs. You’ll set up a lathe machining center and a cylindrical grinder, then bring steel components into tolerance. Throughout the shift, you validate Dia, TIR, and taper, carefully documenting results with micrometers, dial indicators, and a profilometer. Blueprints guide your decisions, while your knowledge of GD&T ensures every feature aligns with design intent.
You’ll move confidently between multiple machine centers, use hoists and slings to handle material safely, and make adjustments via production software—all while collaborating with teammates to hit quality and schedule targets.
