Machine Operator, Manufacturing & Industrial Operations, Production Associate / Production Line
Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a Production Machine Operator to join their team. As a Production Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: $22.56
Location: Darien, WI
Pay Range: $22.56
Shift: 1st shift 5am-1pm with overtime 5a-3p or 5a-5p
What's the Job?- Operate slitter machine safely and efficiently
- Set up the machine based on work instructions for specific orders
- Cut rolls to specified sizes and tolerances
- Fill out paperwork related to quality and record measurements as necessary
- Support general housekeeping and promote teamwork within the plant
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including long hours standing and bending
- Basic math and computer skills
- Knowledge of inventory database systems is helpful but can be learned on the job
- Certified on the safe use of forklifts and other material moving equipment
- Experience operating machinery such as circular saws, banding machines, and hoists is advantageous
