Quality Control Inspector

Key Responsibilities

• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections of precision machined components
• Verify parts meet tight tolerance requirements
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and process documentation
• Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation
• Ensure full traceability and compliance with material and process requirements
• Communicate issues and work with machinists and programmers to resolve them
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Comfortable using Windows-based computers/software
• Strong work ethic and a genuine desire to learn and improve are essential
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions exactly and maintain accurate records
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
• Physically capable of handling shop work, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  (moving material, tooling, and machined components)

• Experience working in a machine shop highly preferred, but not required
