CNC Lathe or Mill Operator

MRS Machining is a family-owned precision CNC machine shop with 40 years in business. We’re hiring CNC lathe machinists to join our team in a clean, air-conditioned shop with advanced machinery and tooling.

• $22–$36 per hour based on experience
• Additional premium for 2nd shift
• Full-time, 42–50 hours per week
• In-person position

• Program, set up, adjust and operate CNC lathes to produce close-tolerance parts
• Read blueprints, routings and shop travelers
• Use measuring equipment to verify dimensions and maintain consistent quality
• Monitor tooling and replace worn inserts or cutters
• Troubleshoot machining issues and communicate concerns to supervisors
• Follow safety procedures and participate in cross-training

• Ability to safely program, set up and operate CNC lathes
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and communication skills
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Machine Tool diploma or equivalent education and experience desired
• Two years of CNC machining, manufacturing and measuring equipment experience preferred
• Mazak experience is a plus
