LEER-Shell Assembler

The Shell Assembler is responsible for assembling outer shells on all merchandiser models. Duties include preparing liners for installation, drilling for backup plate and foam block installation, assisting with breaker strip and shell end installation, taping breakers and cabinet ends, performing required quality checks, and building cabinets to blueprint specifications.

• Assembling outer shells on all models of merchandisers.
• Prep liners for installing including but not limited to: mastic, drilling, backup plate install, foam block install.
• Install liner in shell.
• Installing breaker strips on all cabinets.
• Installing shell ends on all cabinets.
• Taping of all breakers and cabinet ends.
• Performing all required quality checks prior, during, and after assembly.
• Must be able to build cabinets to blueprint.
• Other duties as assigned in Front Line area.

• Knowledge of quality on cabinets.
• Knowledgeable of merchandiser cabinet sizes.

• Must understand & be able to follow ALL safe operating procedures & requirements.
• Must be quality conscious to prevent dents and defects of cabinets.
• Ability to use small hand tools in a safe manner.
• Ability to read measurement devices accurately.
• Individuals will be required to rotate the duties within the shell assembly and foam area.
• Must be reliable, cooperative, self-motivated and self-disciplined.
• Ability to be at work and on time daily.

• Ability to lift 50 - 75 lbs. on a continual basis.
• Ability to push and pull all cabinets.
