CNC Machinist​/Programmer

Turn-Key Solutions (TKS) is seeking an experienced, self-motivated CNC Machinist / Programmer to join our manufacturing team. This position requires an experienced machinist capable of independently programming, setting up, and operating CNC horizontal boring mills equipped with FANUC controls. The ideal candidate will have strong Mastercam offline programming experience and the ability to manufacture precision components from engineering drawings through final inspection.

Our manufacturing environment focuses on custom automation equipment, large weldments, and low-volume, one-of-a-kind components.

• Independently develop CNC programs using Mastercam offline programming software.
• Set up and operate CNC horizontal boring mills equipped with FANUC controls.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
• Determine machining strategies, tooling requirements, feeds, speeds, and work holding methods.
• Machine large steel and aluminum components, weldments, and precision machine parts.
• Establish work offsets, tool offsets, and machining setups.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs, tooling issues, and machining challenges.
• Inspect completed components using precision measuring equipment.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy and high-quality workmanship.
• Safely operate overhead cranes and material-handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience

• Proficiency in Mastercam offline CNC programming.
• Experience with FANUC CNC controls

• Experience operating horizontal boring mills or similar large CNC machining equipment.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Strong understanding of G-code, cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and machining processes.
• Experience machining large components, fabricated weldments, and precision parts.
• Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
