Injection Molding Machine Operator

• Operate and maintain injection molding machines to produce plastic parts according to specifications.
• Perform quality inspections and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Work as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.

• Remove molded plastic parts from injection molding machines safely and efficiently.
• Trim parts from runners using gate trimming side cutters and remove flash as necessary.
• Clean parts to meet quality standards before further processing.
• Conduct visual and mechanical inspections of parts using written and verbal instructions.
• Perform additional operations such as fixture work, assembly, machining, staging, sanding, sonic welding, hot stamping, and weigh counting as needed.
• Pack finished parts into containers following precise instructions and stack filled containers in designated areas.
• Sort runners from parts on automatic presses and process runners and rejected parts through material grinders.
• Accurately record and report rejected parts at the molding machine.
• Complete data entry tasks including listing good and scrap parts and logging time for each job.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety guidelines.
