Job Description The Lake Country Dock Hounds, proud members of the American Association of Professional Baseball, are seeking a
** Social Media Intern – Gameday
** for the 2027 season at Dock Hounds Ballpark in Oconomowoc, WI.This internship provides hands-on experience in
** social media management, content creation, digital marketing, and fan engagement
** during Dock Hounds home games and community appearances. You’ll help capture and share the excitement of the Dock Hounds experience while learning how a professional sports organization uses social media to connect with fans and promote its brand.
* * Duties & Responsibilities
* ** Assist with the team’s
** social media accounts
** on game days and during community appearances, including Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, Tik Tok, and X.
* Capture engaging
** photo, video, and behind-the-scenes content
** throughout game days and events.
* Create and publish real-time social media content that highlights the team, players, promotions, fans, and overall ballpark experience.
* Collaborate with the Marketing department to promote games, special events, promotions, and community initiatives.
* Attend weekly marketing meetings to stay informed on upcoming social media and marketing needs.
* Create content that aligns with current social media trends while maintaining the Dock Hounds brand and voice.
* Ensure all
** corporate sponsorship social media assets
** are properly scheduled, accounted for, and delivered.
* Assist with
** custom content development
** for social media channels.
* Help manage social media accounts and encourage audience engagement through comments, messages, and interactive content.
* Use social media insights and analytics to help improve engagement, reach, and overall performance.
* Work with the Graphic Design team to create content for social media, email campaigns, and the website.
* Maintain a consistent and engaging brand presence across all social media channels.
* Assist other departments with game-day and event-related responsibilities as needed.

** Mid-April–Mid-September 2027, including 50 home games, office hours, special events, and community appearances.

** Up to **$1,500 for the summer**.
