AEC Marketing Specialist

LHH is currently searching for a Marketing Specialist for a permanent opportunity with our client in the Dallas area. This role will support business development and marketing initiatives, with a primary focus on RFP responses, proposal development, and production in Adobe InDesign. The Marketing Specialist will also contribute to social media, events, brand communications, and other day-to-day marketing activities. The ideal candidate is an organized, deadline-driven collaborator who can manage multiple priorities and produce polished, accurate materials.

AEC experience is a must. This is a hybrid role at our client’s office in the Dallas area.

• Coordinate and develop responses to RFPs, RFQs, and other proposal requests from kickoff through final submission.
• Write, edit, format, and proofread proposal content, qualifications packages, presentations, and related business development materials.
• Create visually polished, brand-compliant proposals and marketing collateral using Adobe InDesign.
• Partner with technical professionals, project managers, and leadership to gather project details, resumes, case studies, and other required content.
• Maintain proposal resources, including project descriptions, staff resumes, boilerplate content, photography, and marketing databases.
• Track deadlines, requirements, approvals, and deliverables to ensure accurate and timely submissions.
• Support social media planning, content development, scheduling, and engagement across company channels.
• Assist with the planning, promotion, and execution of client events, conferences, trade shows, and internal events.
• Develop and update brochures, presentations, email campaigns, website content, award submissions, and other marketing materials.
• Monitor marketing initiatives and provide basic reporting on campaign, social media, and event performance.
• Ensure consistent messaging, branding, grammar, and visual standards across all deliverables.
• Handle multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or a related field.
• 4+ years of marketing, proposal, or business development experience.
• Required experience within the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.
• Demonstrated experience managing RFP and proposal development processes from initial request through submission.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign is required.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and document-production skills.
• Excellent project management, organization, and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical subject-matter experts and senior leaders.
• High attention to detail and the ability to maintain quality under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule in Dallas, Texas.
