Native Prairies Association of Texas seeks Education and Volunteer Coordinator
Native Prairies Association of Texas (NPAT) seeks a passionate and dynamic Education and Volunteer Coordinator to lead educational programs and volunteer initiatives across Texas. This role requires regular travel throughout the state to coordinate hands-on land stewardship events, deliver educational presentations, and build community engagement in prairie conservation efforts.
As a key team member, you’ll develop and implement school-based and community programs, manage volunteer activities on NPAT-protected lands, and represent the organization should be comfortable with public speaking, leading outdoor activities, and working with diverse groups, from students to corporate volunteers.
This position is hybrid/remote, but frequent travel (monthly or more) is required for on-site events, fieldwork, and partnership development. Occasional evening and weekend work may also be necessary.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $45,000 – $55,000, based on experience
Travel expenses reimbursed
