Assistant Director of Nursing – Full Time

North Shore Health,
Sheboygan, WI

Salary: $90,000 – $105,000 based on experience.

We are hiring an experienced RN leader ready to take the next step!

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in the management and delivery of nursing services.
  • Plan, organize, direct, supervise, and evaluate all nursing services provided in the center.
  • Ensure nursing department compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and implementation of center nursing core programs.
  • Maintain records and reports concerning resident care.
  • Oversee orientation and training of nursing services personnel.
  • Manage the nursing department within budget in the absence of the DON.
  • Follow all center policies and procedures.
  • Subject to on‑call rotation.
  • Perform hands‑on administration on the floor with residents and staff.
Required

Education and Experience
  • Current RN license in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Strong financial and management skills.
  • Adaptability to flexible work schedules and occasional overnight travel.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and staff.
  • Positive attitude toward working with long‑term care residents and the elderly.
  • Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Meet all required health standards as mandated by law.
  • Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn company applications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Subject to call schedule.
Preferred

Education and Experience
  • Experience in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Post‑acute care or other health‑care experience.
