The House Supervisor works in collaboration with Nurse Managers to coordinate, supervise and perform operational tasks within specific departments. This person is also responsible for planning, organizing, supervising and evaluating nursing activities of the Med/Surg department. The House Supervisor is a resource who makes leadership decisions when department managers are not present, as well as supervises patient care in Med/Surg, High Obs, OB, ER and Behavioral Health.
Work Schedule:.6 FTE / 24 hours weekly, 12-hour day shifts with every third weekend rotation.
Required Qualifications:- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Possess a current WI RN license
- BLS certification required and ACLS certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire
- Prefer 1 year of directly related experience; demonstrates keyboarding skill and computer knowledge. Prefer progressive care or high observation unit experience.
