Job Description:

** JOB SUMMARY
** The Registered Nurse functions as a vital member of the healthcare team who contributes to the success of Marshfield Clinic Health System by demonstrating customer/patient focus, effective communication, professionalism and self-development, and teamwork. S/he utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families. This individual demonstrates excellent clinical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and leadership skills, and makes decisions consistent with Marshfield Clinic Health System policies, department protocols/guidelines, and the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act.
** JOB QUALIFICATIONS
**** EDUCATION
* ** For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

** Two years nursing experience.
** CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

Required:

*** Current Registered Nurse License awarded by the applicable state or Nurse Compact License.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.
* Additional department-specific certifications, licenses, or memberships may be required (varies by department/location).
* Affiliated staff privileges at associated hospital may be required (varies by department/location).
** Preferred/Optional:
** Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
