This approximately 300-bed trauma facility maintains established clinical infrastructure and protocols to support locum tenens cardiothoracic surgery coverage. The facility holds a Level 4 trauma designation and is currently experiencing a vacancy requiring coverage. On-site resources are in place to facilitate continuity of cardiothoracic surgical services throughout each assigned coverage period.

The Nurse Practitioner will provide cardiothoracic surgery coverage on a day shift and 24-hour shift basis, with 1-2 days per week beginning at the end of October. Clinical responsibilities include vein harvesting and inpatient census management, with an anticipated inpatient volume of 2-6 patients per day and an outpatient volume of 2-15 patients per day. Call is a required component of this assignment, and clinicians must maintain on-site availability throughout each designated coverage period.
