CRNA Locum Tenens Opportunity – Southwest Wisconsin
Seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for ongoing locum tenens coverage at a community hospital in Southwest Wisconsin.
This opportunity offers $235/hr plus travel and lodging, a flexible rotating schedule, and a broad anesthesia case mix including OB and regional anesthesia.
Position Details:- Location: Southwest Wisconsin
- Start Date: ASAP, pending credentialing
- Duration: Ongoing; flexible coverage blocks, potentially one week at a time
- Daytime
Schedule:
7 AM–3 PM, followed by assigned call - Call Rotation: 3-week rotation
- Week 1: Primary call, including overnight and weekend coverage
- Week 2: Secondary/backup call with lighter after-hours responsibilities
- Week 3: Off
- Case Mix: General Surgery, Orthopedics, OB, and Regional Anesthesia
- OB: Approximately 125–140 deliveries annually, including 30–35 C-sections
- Regional Anesthesia: Labor epidurals and peripheral nerve blocks required
- Case Volume: Typically 3–8 cases daily, depending on surgical volume
- Practice Environment: Small CRNA team with rotating primary and backup call responsibilities
- EMR: Epic
- Compensation: $235/hr + Travel & Lodging
- Credentialing: Timeline to be confirmed
The primary-call CRNA may occasionally assist with emergency airway management or rapid response situations. Secondary call is generally less demanding, with after-hours callbacks reported to be uncommon.
