Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position involves assessing residents, administering medications, reporting changes in their condition to the physician, updating family members, and assisting Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) as needed.
Essential
Job Duties:
- Administer medications to residents while adhering to the 5 Rights.
- Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator.
- Notify the charge nurse of any changes in residents' conditions.
- Assist CNAs with responding to call lights and other responsibilities.
- Communicate changes in residents' conditions to physicians and family members as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Must possess and maintain a valid Wisconsin LPN license.
- Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
- Preferred: 1+ years of related work experience.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail are necessary.
Additional Information:
Holiday coverage is required.
