Vice President, Clinical Operations (RN)

Brookfield, WI (Greater Milwaukee Area) | Full-Time | On-Site Executive Leadership

We are representing a privately operated home care organization seeking a highly capable RN clinical executive to lead nursing operations, develop nurse leaders, strengthen quality and staff accountability, and establish dependable clinical systems. This is a visible, hands‑on leadership role - not a remote position or a routine field RN assignment.

Local and Wisconsin‑based candidates are preferred; however, highly qualified out‑of‑state candidates willing to relocate will be considered based on relevant leadership experience, demonstrated performance, and career stability. This is an on‑site executive position.

• Registered Nurse with active, unrestricted authority to practice in Wisconsin by the start date.
• Demonstrated clinical leadership in home care, private‑duty nursing, home health, hospice, or a closely related community‑based setting.
• Proven oversight of RN/LPN teams, clinical assessments and care plans, quality/compliance, and nurse development.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, change‑management capability, and ability to collaborate with established operations, scheduling and HR leadership.
• Direct participation in an unannounced Joint Commission accreditation survey, with a clearly defined role and follow‑up responsibilities, is strongly preferred.

• Provide visible clinical leadership; coach and hold RN/LPN teams and nursing supervisors accountable for reliable, high‑quality care.
• Improve clinical scheduling, client assignments and reassessment workflows; implement clear RN case ownership and appropriate nurse‑case‑manager oversight.
• Lead QAPI, documentation quality, Joint Commission readiness (including unannounced surveys), incident response, infection prevention and clinical competency development.
• Guide oversight of personal‑care and higher‑acuity in‑home nursing services, including important client/family consultations and clinical escalations.
• Partner directly with ownership and existing managers to build sustainable clinical operations and a high‑performing nursing culture.

• Competitive executive‑level base compensation based on relevant experience and agreed responsibilities; additional performance incentives may be developed.
• Primarily office‑based, on‑site leadership (approximately 80–90%), with local field presence for supervision and key client needs.
