***** essential duties and responsibilities
** the landscaper performs a variety of duties necessary to the general maintenance and upkeep of the grounds of the facilities, to include but not limited to the following:
* maintains grounds including trimming hedges, pruning shrubs using hand tools, fertilizing shrubs, and repairing structures such as irrigation systems.
* removes leaves and debris from premises.
* power washing areas needed.
* responsible for overall appearance of the grounds.
* other duties as assigned.
** qualifications, education, and/or experience
*** must have one year’s related experience and/or formal vocational/technical training in grounds maintenance, demonstrate expertise in the field and be physically able to perform the duties of the job.
* must maintain a valid driver’s license.
* high school diploma or ged required.
** communication skills
** must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, managers and staff members.
