Position Summary

HH Accurate Arborist is seeking an experienced and motivated Crew Leader to oversee daily tree care operations and lead a professional tree crew in the field. The Crew Leader is responsible for ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards while providing leadership, training, and support to crew members.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled arboriculture professional who enjoys leading teams, operating equipment, and delivering exceptional service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise tree care crews on residential, commercial, and municipal job sites.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and ensure compliance with all company safety policies and industry standards.
• Coordinate and direct crew members in tree pruning, removals, rigging, stump grinding, and other arboricultural services.
• Operate and oversee the safe use of chainsaws, chippers, bucket trucks, aerial lifts, and other tree care equipment.
• Assess job sites for hazards and implement safe work practices.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding project expectations and completion.
• Train and mentor crew members on proper tree care techniques and safety procedures.
• Complete job documentation and equipment inspections as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with emergency storm response work when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the tree care industry.
• Previous leadership or crew supervision experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of tree pruning, removals, rigging, and industry safety standards.
• Ability to lead by example and maintain a positive team environment.
• Valid driver's license required.
• CDL preferred or ability to obtain one.
• ISA Arborist Certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work.
