Position: Technician I
Location: Franksville

Shift

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 02:00pm - 10:00pm (OT very rare)

Training:
First Shift 7am to 3:30pm, then second shift after 2 weeks.

Interview:
In person or virtual (TBD).

Critical (must have)
  • Basic knowledge of electrical principles and safety practices.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
  • Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures.
  • Associate degree from an accredited institution (flexible based on experience).
Good to have (plus)
  • Previous experience in high-voltage testing or electrical laboratory work.
  • Familiarity with IEEE/IEC test standards and high-voltage equipment.
Position

US-Franksville-Test Technician – Prepare and configure high-voltage test setups according to test plans and standards (IEEE/IEC).

Essential Functions
  • Perform AC/DC dielectric, impulse, and related tests on electrical components.
  • Monitor test equipment, verify readings, and accurately record results in test logs and reports.
  • Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and strict adherence to all Client safety requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with 5S standards.
  • Complete and maintain test documentation and reports for traceability and audits.
  • Identify and report any anomalies or questionable results to the Supervisor.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and test procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree from an accredited institution (preferred but flexible).
  • Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in a high-voltage environment.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Basic knowledge of electrical principles and safety practices.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
  • Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Previous experience in high-voltage testing or electrical laboratory work.
  • Familiarity with IEEE/IEC test standards and high-voltage equipment.
