Position: Technician I
Location: Franksville

Work schedule:

Monday‑Friday, 02:00 pm – 10:00 pm (OT very rare). Training on 1st Shift 7 am – 3:30 pm then moving to 2nd Shift for 2 weeks. Interview will be in person or virtual (TBD).

US‑Franksville‑Test Technician

Prepare and configure high‑voltage test setups according to test plans and standards (IEEE/IEC).

CRITICAL MUST HAVE
  • Basic knowledge of electrical principles and safety practices.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
  • Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures.
  • Associate degree from an accredited institution. (Flexible based on experience)
  • GOOD TO HAVE (PLUS)
  • Previous experience in high‑voltage testing or electrical laboratory work.
  • Associate degree from an accredited institution.
  • Familiarity with IEEE/IEC test standards and high‑voltage equipment
  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    • Perform AC/DC dielectric, impulse, and related tests on electrical components.
    • Monitor test equipment, verify readings, and accurately record results in test logs and reports.
    • Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and strict adherence to all Client safety requirements.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with 5S standards.
    • Complete and maintain test documentation and reports for traceability and audits.
    • Identify and report any anomalies or questionable results to the Supervisor.
    • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and test procedures.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.
    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Associate degree from an accredited institution. Preferred but flexible.
    • Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in a high‑voltage environment.
    • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
    • Basic knowledge of electrical principles and safety practices.
    • Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
    • Detail‑oriented and able to work independently.
    • Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures.
    • Word & Excel
    • Strong communication Skills
    PREFERRED SKILLS
    • Previous experience in high‑voltage testing or electrical laboratory work.
    • Familiarity with IEEE/IEC test standards and high‑voltage equipment.
