Quality Inspector

Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, the QC Inspector is responsible for supporting the Quality Department with quality procedures on a daily basis and assisting with Chapter 2’s Production Department. Under supervision, perform repetitiveinspections following standardized methods and procedures. Visually inspect orcheck parts using a variety of precision measuring instruments or against fixedsamples. Check dimensions and finishes against blueprints or order specifications. May perform finishing operations to correct rejected parts orassist with other production activities.

• Perform incoming (of parts and raw materials) and process inspections per Quality Dept. procedures and final inspection of product per company procedures as assigned.
• This includes but does not limit:
• Surf tests, roaming inspections, approvals, re-approvals, calibrations and outgoing inspections
• Noting time spent on all duties listed above
• Filling out scrap part sheets
• Putting away parts, gauges
• Cleaning the Quality Lab
• Conducting training verifications and quality audits on time to ensure the quality and knowledge of specific production employees
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Quality Engineer and/or departments as needed.
• To monitor, carry out and abide by company policies.

Candidate(s) should be a reliable and responsible individual, able to work independently and well with others. Must have excellent attendance record! Heavy lifting and standing is required.
