The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and for ensuring the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The General Manager works with their leader to set the restaurant’s goals and to develop a plan to achieve them. The General Manager leads a team of Assistant Managers, helps them set goals, follows up on their progress, and provides coaching and direction to improve.
The General Manager may also be responsible for hiring and developing Assistant and Shift Managers to ensure the restaurant has the right team to lead into the future.
- Previous General Manager experience running high‑volume locations.
- Background in quick service restaurants strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail.
- Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate‑owned and operated restaurants.
