Baker​/Bakery Production

· Serve customers throughout the store while modeling a service-oriented culture and providing "best in class" customer service, which includes, greeting, engaging, and thanking every guest for their business.

· Follow the production schedule to determine quantity and variety of goods to bake based on Bakery Manager's recommendations.

· Properly scale, mix, divide, proof, shape and bake breads and sweets to sell to our customers.

· Monitor inventory levels for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. order within budget.

· Ensure that the bakery department is always full and fresh with the best quality products.

· Use all equipment in the bakery including refrigerators, freezers, ovens, proofers, mixers, etc. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety/sanitation regulations and procedures.

· Provide consistent, timely and friendly customer service when answering questions, making recommendations and promoting products through suggestive selling.

· Other duties as assigned.

· HS Diploma or equivalent preferred

· Previous bakery experience preferred

· Food Safety Certification required within 90 days of employment

· Able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.

· Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time

· Continuous use of hands, arms, bending, reaching and twisting

· Excellent organizational and planning skills

· Ability to accommodate a fluctuating schedule, including weekend and holiday shifts
