Account Executive

Qualifications

• Must have 3 or more years of sales experience in electric power industry (electrical maintenance, electrical safety)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education;
  Business/Engineering/Technical preferred
• Proven new business sales experience (hunter mentality)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and effective use of CRM
• Prefer working knowledge or experience with at least one of the following:
  • Substations
  • Circuit breakers
  • Relay
  • Cable
  • Transformers

• Inside sales activities including:
  • Outbound dialing
  • Generating new opportunities
  • Daily prospecting
  • Existing customers – retain and grow revenues
  • Pursue and close sales leads
• Responsible for attaining annual sales quota
• Limited overnight travel (i.e., trade shows, customer visits)
• Portray AVO in a positive manner – professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity, tact
• Work with Marketing Department:
  • Reach more customers
  • Messaging with prior customers
  • Develop growth strategies

• Ability to work independently as well as within small teams.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task with ability to complete tasks on schedule.
• Strong organizational skills.

• 2-3 business days trips, typically planned 1-2 weeks in advance
