• Interpret and follow blueprints, ensuring accurate execution of deck designs.
• Measure and cut materials with precision to meet project specifications.
• Install and secure support structures, ensuring stability and safety.
• Utilize various tools and equipment for cutting, shaping, and assembling deck components.
• Collaborate with clients and project managers to understand design preferences and specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during construction, ensuring a high‑quality finished product.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and techniques for continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance and training to junior team members when applicable.
• Comply with building codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the construction process.
• Communicate effectively with clients to address questions, concerns, and modifications during the project.
• Ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality workmanship.

• HS Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s license with clean driving record to operate company vehicles
• Previous experience as a Carpenter
• Attention to detail
• Time management skills
• Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurements
• Excellent problem‑solving skills to troubleshoot and address issues during construction
• Ability to read and take action on blueprints
• Ability to safely operate hand and power carpentry tools
• Knowledge of building regulations and codes
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
• Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of manual labor

• Skilled experience operating heavy duty pick‑up trucks and towing trailers
• Experience building high‑class deck and outdoor living projects
